When you want to move forward, what are the tools you need to set you free from your current constraints?
Over the past number of weeks I have been dealing with various challenges - whether my ongoing back pain due to an accident 8 years ago, or emergency medical situations separately for my dog and my dad (both now ok thankfully) to even something more favourable such as finding a new hairdresser now that I'm living in Dublin, in an effort to cut loose the old colour and find someone new to trust with shaping (literally) my image.
This month's new moon newsletter invites you to consider the tools and supports you need to help you move forward with how you want to live.
We rely so much on others, yet often those who come to our rescue are recommended to us or even sent to us.
What will help you move forward? Helping others with their advanced planning I always get a great sense of purpose as each new client connects with the reality of our process as a great opportunity for them to audit their life and living, rather than it focusing on dying or death. Sometimes taking that brave step to sign up for the tools and supports we avoid (for me it is the gym) will inevitably motivate us forward when we connect with their benefits and see the positive outcomes of taking action.
As a coach I have recently started working with a supervisor, to hold me accountable in my accreditation and practice and also to ensure I am growing and developing as a life and business coach. Having a fresh perspective is incredibly helpful but also insightful to recognise things I may not ordinarily see as I am so immersed in my practice.
What supports help you?
When I set up Living Legacy in November 2022 I started my journey in supporting individuals with gathering their advanced plans and life plans, as well as for business owners and leaders to build their business future. The tools I needed ranged from the basics of scheduling through to the website, and even benefitting from hiring a virtual assistant, as well as branding and social media supports. More recently I have secured mentoring supports through the Small Firm Associations (SFA) MentorWorks programme. And for my back I am benefiting from both physical and psychological supports to help me work through the long lived pain.
However, some supports may not work in our favour, so it is good to make sure to first try before committing.
I am determined to provide the best service, so it is vital for me to ensure I get the right tools and supports to help me on my journey helping others.
For those of you connected to Living Legacy on Linkedin we will be in touch to find out how we can best support you so we hope to get to meet as many of you in the coming months.
As many are now taking vacation and winding down for a much needed break from work, now is a great time to reflect and consider what tools you want and need to help you progress to your next goal(s) or even to get all those outstanding 'must do' items done from your long outstanding to do list.
